“Great friendly service, good room with a lovely bay window overlooking the sea. Small touches really help, like bottle opener in room etc. Breakfast was hearty and offered smoked mackerel as a choice, as well as the cooked breakfast.”

“Great location, our room overlooked the beach, with a lovely view. Free parking outside. Room was clean and comfy. Hosts Marion and Graham were warm and welcoming. Great breakfasts. The free cakes on receptoon every day was a nice touch. Really enjoyed our 2 night stay and hope to be back again soon. ”

“Lovely B&B ideal location from the train station and great view! Hosts are friendly and ideal for my one night stay. Shame I missed out on the breakfast due to an early start! Sea beats restaurant a few doors down was delicious and also very welcoming.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Charnwood Guest House. The spotless room had a comfortable bed, tea and coffee making facilities and hot shower. Breakfast was served fresh to order each morning. Location was a short walk along the river from the beach and restaurants. Finally a shout out to Ruth and Phil who were the most charming hosts you could hope to meet.”
