“Shaka Caye is a MUST for people who enjoy the tranquility of a tropical island, but have the option for ADVENTURE. Not only is there much to do on the island (kayaking, sand volleyball, paddle boarding, local sea life, a near-by caye you can explore all on your own-) you can charter a boat to enjoy Caye Caulker, snorkeling and cave tubing. My partner and I aimed to do charter a boat for an inland-adventure, but ultimately were so enchanted by what the island had to offer we just stayed put :)...

The Fort George didn’t disappoint in accommodating our last minute reservation, they were friendly and coordinated the transport from the airport to their hotel. When I say last minute I mean I’m booking the hotel and coordinating with their staff in mid air. Great service. The hotel is beautiful the beds were very comfortable. Will return when I have more time. ”

“Great hotel and great location. Easy to walk to stores, restaurants and roadside food stands. Amazing panoramic view on the rooftop, with nice 4ft pool and lots of seating. Complimentary breakfast was delicious every morning. Good lunch and dinner menus. Snacks, drinks and first aid items available for purchase in lobby. You can easily get a taxi or local bus to anywhere in the city.”
