"TBH this was our first adult only “love” hotel experience in Japan. The location is amazing, right opposite the beach - but the room we had had no view. The hotel was really cheap (£34 per night when we booked), and the service is amazing. If you’ve ever done video Karaoke in Japan, it’s more like that than a regular hotel - but obviously the room has a bed in it!! "I decided to stay in Kobe for 2 extra nights. My original hotel was booked so I stayed at this Dormy. The room was nicer than I thought it would be. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to use the public bath as I read in the check-in info that they do not allow tattoos (which was disappointing), so be aware of that. I did get to partake in the free late night ramen and icecream snacks which is a nice touch. Most importantly, it was clean and the location is pretty great for being close to attractions. "

"Rooms have everything but extremely tiny. No gym or work-out room. I was on the 7th floor and it was very quiet. No street noise. TV big screen but only has Japanese stations. Nice bathtub for soaking and good shower."
