Comfy bed, clean room

A last minute stay on our way home at the end of our family vacation. We arrived late at night but the desk clerk was super friendly and check in was fast and easy. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The included breakfast had liminted items but the make your own waffles were very good. Great coffee, too!

The nightly rate was extremely reasonable. This hotel was slightly outdated but still clean, comfortable, and safe. Would definitely stay here again.

Parking isn’t the best. I was given a room in the front but the only spaces available were handicap tag required and the next closest spaces were on a steep incline. Check in clerk was very knowledgeable and offered some areas of interest. Friendly service.

This motel was convenient to the Kentucky Downs. I had switched dates due to COVID and staff was helpful and patient with my requests. I would definitely stay here again.

Check in was simple and the clerk was friendly. Room was rough. Stains and black smears on walls and chairs. Heater made the worst growling sound that it woke us up every time it came on. Wallpaper in bathroom was peeling up like 6inches and so small that the door barely cleared the toilet to open! Luggage rack was rusted and the microwave barely popped a bag of popcorn. But the worst part was the weed smell coming in the vents… it got worse each night we were there and by the 3rd night we almost left, it smelled like someone legitimately smoke a joint on the bed and left. Never again will I stay there when I’m in the area and that is often.

Everything about the property and experience was okay. We checked in late for a sleep on the way through, so it served it's purpose. Not somewhere I'd likely stay for more than that, but we felt overall safe and the room was clean so no real complaints.
