“Can't understand what's so prestigous about it, fairly average really. Location is awful, name misleading. Set by a landfill site. Restaurant ok. Bathroom was nice.”

We thought the main bedding could be better with a bit more blackout curtain/blinds as the ambient lights outside were on for a longer period at night - these are some feedback for the sake of it. One example being the bathroom, shower heads were not consistent in the water pressure and so caused a lot of spraying all across. “Room was clean and refurbished but let down by the bathroom The toilet was badly located and toiletries insufficient ( particularly as there was nowhere to shower in spa) due to no changing rooms being available Parts of the hotel have been refurbished and are lovely although often just superficial but the other parts are very tired and and unloved. “Another great stay . Spotless rooms and facilities (we stayed in the barn annexe). Staff excellent and breakfast first class. Lots of variety and uses local produce for their meals. We ate our evening meals there as well. Will definitely go back again . ”

“It was our second stay at the Victorian and it won’t be our last. The room we had was very spacious and most definitely ‘dog friendly’. Our bed was comfortable and the breakfast experience was very pleasant with good quality food. Staff were very attentive and helped enhance our stay.”
