Room was clean, needs a little updating and some screws need tightening. Staff was great in accommodating our needs. Love that it was pet friendly. Close to restaurants and situated in a lovely setting overlooking the lake and brook. Relatively quiet. I would stay here again.

A clean, no-frills hotel with great staff and an excellent view of the river. Pet-friendly, with nature walks next to the hotel, and close to very good Pizza. If you stay in Blind River, this is the place to go.

Very scenic location with wonderful view of falls and river. Check-in was above expectations. This property is undergoing renovations but this did not effect our enjoyment of it. Would definitely book this lodging again.

It sits on Blind River beautiful spot. It looked like the floors had been replaced. It was a bed to sleep comfy bed. It was a cold night no blankets to keep you warm. Noisy fridge. I hope the owner puts some money into it as it could be a little gold mine. I’d stay again if I knew it had been upgraded.

A great deal of dog and goose poop on the property. Many people smoking tobacco and weed on the property. Very outdated. Ie no towels racks, only one electrical outlet. I do like Friendly people, beautiful scenery, easy to access off the highway

It’s a trade off. You can’t beat the location, especially if you’re on the river side.Near the centre of town and looking onto the river with fabulous rushing waterfalls at your doorstep. There are even benches outside the room for morning breakfast beside the water. The room itself is basic but clean and well appointed. Good value for the price. Only complaint is how noisy the AC unit is and the rooms should have blackout curtains as the outside light is on all night. Otherwise with earplugs and face mask, we slept well in the comfortable beds.

Property is a convenient stop over half-way point however on a lower end of the scale as far as room updateness goes. Needs a face-lift and room color scheme changes. Old building. Nice that Tim's is close by and an awesome Pizza place for a meal.
