“The hotel is very clean and each member of staff throughout were superb. Courteous, attentive and looked professional. The bar area is really nice with a good selection of drinks. The food in the evening I had fish and chips. It wasn’t the best and the cooked breakfast was a 3/5. However there was a very good range of food in the evening and breakfast options. This is just my opinion and it shouldn’t take away from your decision to stay as the cleanliness, staff and location were all spot on....

“We had a most enjoyable first stay at South Sands having had to change our plans at short notice due to an injury which meant that my husband was unable to fly. As we arrived to check-in Jonathan the food and beverages manager gave us the warmest of welcomes, he presides over an excellent team. The menu was extensive and varied using the delicious fresh local fish and seafood to its full advantage, the lobster bisque amongst other dishes is to be highly recommended. The breakfast menu was very varied with fruit, cereals, juice etc to start, and a varied menu with plenty of choice for the main course, beautifully cooked. Would highly recommend.
