“The whole experience was wonderful. The chalet is lovely and cosy and has everything you need, but it's the grounds that really make this place special. We were only there for one night, but spent most of 2 days there seeing the animals, taking the rowing boat out on the pond, playing tennis, trampoline, walking around the grounds, so beautiful and idyllic. Our 8 year old absolutely loved it. Super friendly staff too. We will definitely be back.”

“Great room in hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Also stayed in the pod which was basic and we were woken up by garden machinery at 6am which was very annoying. Pool and spa was nice but needs upgrading. The "hot tub" is a "luke warm tub". Receptionist Dan was very friendly and offered an excellent welcome.”

“Stayed 1 night in September 2024. As a frequent traveller, I always ask hotels for a Ground Floor room, near to reception, as I have three heavy bags to carry. Usually this request is ignored, but on this occasion, the allocated room was ideal. Very helpful 👍 Good size room, nice breakfast selection. Lovely grounds. Only downside was the bathroom had no heating, and was quite cold. Overall, very pleased, and will book again. ”
