“We stayed here for 6 nights, and enjoyed our time here. Although the rooms are a bit dated and worn, we didn’t expect 5 star amenities and it met our needs for the price. The hotel is very well managed, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The food is excellent and the menu is varied enough so that there are always a few things that that you might choose to eat. Also the prices are reasonable for an island hotel. This place does not see the hordes of daytrippers the hotels on the north shore...

“I booked and paid on expedia, upon arrival the clerk tried to say i had not paid, then he tried to charge us more saying i had not paid the full price. I had to show him my records before he finally decided i had paid...it felt like a scam, he did apologize but it still felt like a deliberate act. Additionally while in the room, staff members would periodically enter the room and take pictures, i founf this to be disturbing. ”

The location is amazing and central, we didn't have to take an Uber anywhere within Cartagena throughout our stay and were able to walk everywhere. This saved us a lot of time and money during our stay. “It was unique the experience of interacting and seeing bioluminescence/ plankton near the hotel. I recommend to contact the owner prior to traveling. She will give you guidance for transportation. ”

“Pleasantly surprised! Tucked away in La boquilla, ( not a very rich area) is a beautiful retreat. Cold room, stunning balconies and rooftop. Full kitchen. Only place to eat is next door, closes early. I used Rappi for other meals beach is long and swimable. The whole town come out in evening to play soccer it's a very lovely family town. You must get past what your eyes see on the drive here. This is not Bocagrande. I felt safe and a nostalgia watching the town enjoy life into the sunset. Felt...
