“Lovely stay in beautiful surroundings. Enjoyed watching the kangaroos from the balcony and the cockatoos morning visits. The cottage was excellently laid out for my mother who has mobility problems- easy ramp for access and bathroom with shower seat and grab rails”

“Everything was so nice to stay. The facilities in the lodge was very interesting and old enough to feel another world. Host was very kind. One more advantage was The Hunting Lodge Winery was 5 minutes on foot. We had dinner on the winery. We wanna stay again in the future.”

“The location was great near to cradle mountain and caves. Local wildlife was also good. The cottage needs a bit more light in the kitchen, there is only one light for kitchen dining and living area. One light in the kitchen area would help with meal preparation and dishwashing.”

“We really loved the cottage and everything about it, we also liked the owner. However we were concerned we might lose our booking as our ferry was late. We emailed to let them know we would not be there at the nominated time of 7pm. The email was not responded to, maybe in future confirm that the office would still be open to receive us”
