I had the worst experience I’ve ever had at this property. From the moment we arrived, there were issues—no TV or internet, and despite the manager’s promise to fix it, nothing was done. The next morning, the stove and coffee maker didn’t work. When I brought it up at the front desk, the manager disappeared. Later, when I showed him my uncooked eggs, he laughed and dismissed my concerns, even making a public spectacle by asking other guests to clap if they were happy.
To make matters worse, the front desk misrepresented my concerns, telling other guests I was “talking down” to employees. When I requested another room with a working stove, I was told they were sold out. After escalating the issue to corporate, the manager retaliated by claiming my complaints were “hostile” and forced me to leave the property. I had to find another hotel during SXSW Weekend.
This was an unacceptable experience—unprofessional management, poor service, and a complete lack of accountability. I would never recommend staying here.
