This a stylish hotel. It is, indeed, a former convent. It was empty for some years, after which it was renovated and turned into a hotel. The decor plays with Christian themed art a bit. I liked it a lot, but it might not be for everyone. The rooms were spotless, the staff was friendly. The hotel hosts an outstanding restaurant, which is a separate business from the hotel itself. The area around the hotel, is not touristy. There is a bunch of car dealerships and other non-touristy stores around. The restaurants and cafes are about 20 minutes walk away.
