“We stayed here to celebrate our engagement, but the experience was disappointing overall. While the property itself is nice, the service was atrocious. Staff were consistently unhelpful, dismissive, and seemed poorly trained and apathetic. Housekeeping entered our room twice without knocking and we were in bed naked. When we raised it, we were told to use the “Do Not Disturb” sign—no real apology or accountability. They made it our problem and only half took accountability after we pushed back....

“Nice small hotel with black sand beach with gorgeous sunset and colors. The rooms are nice and large surrounding a mini jungle with nice trees and flowers. There are 2 restaurants-bars on the property that are totally overpriced (5-star hotel prices for a 3-star plus hotel). The staff is nice and the amenities are good. The pool is small and not really clean. ”
