“Beautiful building, staff were fantastic and the grounds are great. Lots of lovely walks nearby. Bedroom was HOT even with the heating off.”

“This is the second time I’ve stayed here and it never disappoints. I attended an event this time and everything was perfect. From the atmosphere to the food all amazing. Staff were lovely, shout out the Rebekah who organised the event, she was amazing. The hotel room is spacious and has everything you need. The bed is so comfortable and makes it hard to leave. Will definitely stay again. ”

“Hotel was convenient and well priced in relation to other nearby hotels for the dates at the time. Parking and check-in was easy and the room a decent size with various mod cons. The only downsides were the travel iron (not great) and heating. The pub is right next door presenting a good option but food wasn’t great and male server not that helpful. Also annoying to ask for tip when I have to order for the food at the bar ahead of eating it. ”

“We were only there for 1 night visiting family, but were very impressed. the room was well appointed and very comfortable and the bathroom was clean. It is well situated for eating out and taxis are just across the road. Very well maintained and decorated, looks like new. Reception very friendly and helpful. ”

“Hotel is very nice to stay. But it is not easy to travel without a car because of the public transport system is not affordable and though equiped its own pub (restaurant) in the hotel, there are few shops, restaurants, pubs etc within walking distance.”

“So central and great service. Ear plugs provided just in case of music from downstairs but it was a quiet night! Only drawback was the reception on the TV which kept breaking up. Otherwise, a very enjoyable and comfortable stay.”
