“Mandala boutique hotel sits in beautiful grounds with multiple villas each feeling quiet and private. We were upgraded to a villa with a plunge pool which was a great start to our stay. Being so close to the natural environment was a lovely experience as was the external bathroom-shower. Lee and Jorge were very welcoming and responsive to all our enquiries. The bad: There is 1.8 KM of unpaved steep rocky road before you get to the gate and another kilometer before getting to the property. “The view from the room overlooking the bay is very nice, but the room has no air conditioning/heat pump so it is hard to enjoy as it is very hot. There also are no screens in the bathroom so every night there are many insects, several of them are quite large. It made for a much less enjoyable stay especially at this price point.
