"Great location close to everything. I only stayed one night but enjoyed the stay. The apartment was quiet, spacious and comfortable, the kitchen was a bit basic with no other amenities than a kettle and some cups. The restaurant was great with lovely food and very nice staff. "Looks very nice from outside but the property is old and not the best maintained. Staff are nice and responsive. The interior of the accommodation was very ordinary even the towels were old and worn. Near to the city center and somewhat walkable 20/25min to the beach."

did not see much of Lagoa. lots of little ones all around on tiny winding roads. Took about 1 hour and 10 minutes from airport on N125 (no tolls). Hike, surfing, boat tours were all excellent.
