We enjoyed our stay and Park Central Hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location is also in a great walkable area of Midtown. The property is older but they are working on renovations. One of the elevators was out for repair, so there were often times we were waiting on that but overall our stay was great!

We travelled as a family of four and used this hotel and it was perfect. Spacious for NYC with QUEEN beds which is hard to come by. The staff was super friendly, and the cleaning staff did an awesome job! I’d recommend.

Location is GREAT. Staff were lovely. BUT…..there was only one elevator serving our floor. In was awful. We waiting great amounts of time and I felt like so many people were tired of waiting that an unsafe amount of people were squishing on. Also our room was not ready at check in.

Park Central is in a great location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They are currently upgrading the elevator so there is often a long wait, which I also didn't mind because that is understandable. However, the posting said that the rooms were recently renovated. I saw no evidence of that. Our light switches and commode tops had layers of dirt around them. Maybe the dirt was from a renovation that wasn't noticeable. The first night, our sheets and bedspread had spots of blood on them. We did ask for those to be replaced and the hotel staff did that immediately. Overall, it just didn't feel clean or renovated, but that may have been why the price was so reduced.

We loved the hotel for its proximity to everything we wanted to get to and the staff was very helpful with information or hailing cabs. The elevator situation was a pain unless you knew to use the service elevators and then it was a non-issue.
