“good service on reception , ordering food took a while but over all good clean place to stay”

“Beautiful hotel, the room was comfy and had everything we needed. The bathroom and shower was modern and clean. Great location to walk around Ludlow. We didnt eat or drink in the hotel, it seemed expensive compared to the places around.”

“Our room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking. Good breakfast. Value for money. Staff were fine. I would book this hotel again. The hotel currently appears to be undergoing some refurbishment. I found it difficult to get the water warm enough for a shower. A kettle to make some coffee in the room would have been nice.”

“This hotel is great, worth the upgrade to stay in the old hall, buffet breakfast was the best, don’t usually do self service breakfast but this was so fresh Staff were amazing which makes so much of a difference ”

“Lovely room lots of old features. Excellent location. Friendly helpful staff . Lovely ales on offer. Food very good and 10% discount for guests. Nice outdoor space and roof terrace . ”

“Quirky old place but decent enough for a 1 night stay. Bed comfy and clean room. Ideally property could do with a lick of paint. Didn't stay for breakfast as had an early start but smelt lovely as we checked out. ”

“We stayed here to attend a local wedding and found everything to be fine. We ate there one evening and the food was excellent. Really enjoyable. Our bedroom was spacious and well looked after- and the bed was large and comfortable. Breakfast was included and a good choice of continental products. We didn't try the cooked food, as it looked like it had been cooked some time ago and may have been stale. Recommended, but watch the cooked breakfast!”

“This hotel is well priced offering ample breakfast, comfortable rooms and a decent leisure opportunity. Location is lovely with underused grounds. I would definitely return. No doubt it needs some money spending but also a little imagination. The bar for instance was as welcoming as a saturday night physiology lecture….. just bland, no tv, no happy hour, and no atmosphere. ”
